DIANA LAZAR

Doctor of Law, with thesis sustained in international commercial arbitration, field in which Ms. Lazăr specializes since 2003, when she becomes secretary of the first international commercial arbitration court in Moldova. With multiple contributions in scientific conferences and a professional internship in the Secretariat of the International Arbitration Court of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, Diana Lazăr is working since 2003 as a lecturer in the Department of International and European Law, Faculty of Law, State University of Moldova. Diana Lazăr has profound knowledge of the practice of applying the New York Convention of 1958 on Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, UNCITRAL standards and arbitration rules of the most reputed permanent arbitration institutions in Europe.

Over the past decade, by promoting necessary reforms in the wine and tourism industry in Moldova, Ms. Lazăr knows in detail the business peculiarities of these sectors, but also the international trade practices while studying at the University Montesquieu-Bordeaux IV, France.

She consulted and represented the interests of the Interprofessional Committee of Champagne Wines in the area of protection of intellectual property rights.
