Over the course of 20 years, Martin Cristina accumulated knowledge and experience in consulting national and international companies in the field of corporate law issues, related to setting up a company, licensing, including corporate governance, increases and reductions of capital, especially on corporations, reorganizations and liquidations, including on grounds of insolvency. Cristina carried out analysis and review of contracts and complex transactions daily, mostly international.
Cristina’s recent experience involves advising during the reorganization of a major media operator, including deal structuring and competition clearance of the transaction; assisting with the share purchase in a multinational IT company including deal structuring and legal support up to closing and post-closing activities; legal support for a big multinational soft drink group merger.
Cristina is also actively involved in legal reform initiatives of the Moldovan Government. In particular, she consulted on drafting Moldovan laws and regulations, with a special contribution to mortgage and leasing operations reforms in Moldova. Cristina is an active contributor to World Bank, IFC, EBRD researches related to the Moldovan regulatory, doing business and judiciary reforms.
