Emergency Arbitrator
Should a party to a dispute consider it necessary to apply urgent precautionary measures until an arbitral tribunal can be established, they may make a request for such measures to be taken. Emergency arbitration provisions will form a partial arbitration award. The Parties endeavor to comply with any arbitration award issued by an emergency arbitrator.
Regulations about emergency arbitration are contained in art.36 and ANNEX III of the Rules of Arbitration.
